Spring is in the air and the industry is abuzz awaiting the arrival of the next generation of racing supertars.

Lang Brothers Racing share this air of expectation as we eagerly await the birth of our first progeny from BRAZEN BEAU.

BRAHMAGIRI, our mare out of the great champion LOHNRO, is due to give birth to her first foal in the coming weeks.

This will be a very special moment; especially considering this has been well over two years in the making.

“We originally purchased BRAHMAGIRI to go to BRAZEN BEAU in 2015, his first year at stud,” said Stu Lang picking up the story.

“Unfortunately she slipped 45 days after getting the positive, so it was certainly a devastating blow on our first foray into breeding”.

“We basically just had to sit back and wait for the following season to roll around and thankfully we were able to get her in foal. Now we wait with our fingers crossed, hoping everything goes to script “ added Lang.

The family has certainly developed well over this time, first with top Godolphin two year old VERANILLO and now the recent Adelaide Group 3 winner BANDIPUR, adding further merit to her pages.

“That is the appeal of buying ex Godolphin mares” said Lang.

“They have great pedigrees and their pages are littered with black type winners”.

“We are confident BRAZEN BEAU will make it as a stallion, specially given the success of his own sire I AM INVINCIBLE” concluded Lang.

The sales ring certainly reflects that level of confidence, with the BRAZEN BEAU weanlings selling very well in 2017.

The Lang Brothers Racing team is hoping for similar success when their own BRAZEN BEAU yearling hits the sales ring in 2019

BRAHMAGIRI has been booked into HINCHINBROOK for this breeding season.

BRAZEN BEAU will tango with new acquisition FASHION BLACK in 2017 .
